Luxembourg

Luxembourg is the State in the Western Europe. In the north and the west borders on Belgium, in the east — on Germany, in the south — on France. Together with Belgium and the Netherlands Luxembourg is included into the so-called Benelux countries.

The duchy has arisen in 963 and at various times was under authority of Burgundy, Spain, Austria and France. The Luxembourg’s reigned the country since 1060, since times of Count Conrad, the founder of a dynasty. The country is a member of the United Nations, EU, NATO and the Organizations of economic cooperation and development. 

A state system:

the Head of the state — Great Duke Luxembourg.
The highest legislature — the Chamber of Deputies.
